Unless otherwise contacted by a staff member, all orders are shipped the day the are placed. (as long as within shipping hours) If your order was placed outside of the shipping times it will go out the following business day. We do not hold "Sale" or larger orders for an extended processing time. We are not sure why this is practiced with so many other shops, but it will not happen here.
All orders are shipped within the business day. (see above) All shipping timeframes are estimated by the USPS or the alternate carrier. Those timeframes are estimates only and are subject to delays. All packages are shipped either by First Class (under 16 oz) or Priority (over 16oz). Our system will automatically categorize the orders for shipping. How can you tell if your package is going to be sent First Class? Our shipping price brackets are based on weight. The first weight bracket is $4.95 and covers up to 16oz package. If your order is under that weight bracket it will process as First Class. Anything over that will automatically go as Priority.
Craft Vinyl Cottage is not responsible for delays seen through a carrier. Delays can happen for a multitude of reasonings. All delivery quotes are provided by the carrier and are estimates subject to delays. Shipments are not considered lost in transit until 14 business days have passed with no scans on the package. Please allow USPS enough time to deliver your order before making an inquiry. Craft Vinyl Cottage is not responsible for packages that are lost or stolen once reported delivered by the USPS. If you’ve received a tracking number with your order, you can contact USPS directly or visit www.tools.usps.com and enter your tracking number for an update. Craft Vinyl Cottage does not have any further access than what the USPS Tracking website offers.
If when checking out you're shipping is $4.95 your order will ship First Class with an estimated delivery time 3-7 business days. If you would like to upgrade to Priority shipping with an estimated delivery time of 2-3 days please leave a note at check out in the Special Instructions area asking for "additional invoice for Priority Shipping" we will send an invoice to your email address with the difference in the upgrade. Your package will not ship until that invoice is completed. Remember that the time frames given are estimates only and are subject to any delays seen by the carrier.
We ship to the US, US Territory and Canada. We have suspended other international destinations for the moment.
Buyer is responsible for all taxes and tariffs associated with their purchase and shipment. All estimated shipping times are estimates only. International shipping is subject to delays and customs protocol. Craft Vinyl Cottage is not responsible for these delays.
If you have not received your order and it is marked delivered you will need to contact your local Post Office Manager. Speak with them concerning this issue. They will be able to pull up GPS and ensure it was delivered properly. If it was not they will proceed from there. If it was stolen they will help give you the information needed to file a police report. It is important that you follow through with the police report. The officials in your area need to be made aware that there is a theft problem and people need to be held accountable. Opening mail that is not addressed to you is a Federal Offense, even if incorrectly delivered. We also encourage you to file a grievance with USPS. Click Contact USPS button at the bottom of this page and fill out the customer service email. In the email it will cover theft. An official will contact you directly.
